Thought-provoking as I'm finding less and less I know how to refer to people in RL I have met in Second Life, especially those that might have multiple avatars.

And I would imagine the same is true for me. People have met me on a couple of different avatars and know people who have met me on a different avatar and/or know me in real life.

I'm finding I'm not even sure who I am anymore, or how I think of myself. And interestingly, I'm not sure if this detracts from my sense of identity, as I originally thought. Or lately, I'm beginning to think it contributes to expanding my sense of self, of my identity.

So, who am I ... Laurel, Kendall, KQ, or a whole host of others?

Here I thought it was gonna be something really juicy like sex with 3 others, or standing on street corners DJ'n for pennies..
I think people put way to much into religion. Faith is something totally different.
My dear sweet Deb.. you are a child of God, a defender of Light, my sister, and best friend. What you term or label your religious beliefs is up to you. But in my heart I see you as a Child of God, Jew or Christian. You hold tight to the laws given to you by the almighty.
Our parents try, they attempt but in the end they did what they could with what they could. Some of them not so well. All we can do is forgive, and allow their maker to judge. Live our lives as best as we can, and honor the Creator.-- Colette

Here's hoping everything goes well and you feel happy inside yourself about the direction in which you're heading. I feel much better for having written about my own feelings. Oh, and I'm touched that something I wrote inspired such eloquence in you :)

I'm almost 50, and there are still some of my mother's friends whom I can only address as Mrs. That said, I've raised me kids to be a lot more flexible. They may not address close friends as Mr. or Mrs, but they darned well better use a respectful tone of voice no matter what they say.
