Words can hurt as much as sticks and stones despite what the old children's rhyme has to say. I am glad you are an activist against abuse. The world needs many many more like you. Thank you for being an advocate for making the world a better place!

Well said, DL.

I personally tend to go with the whole "they abuse because they feel entitled to do so" school of thought, as per Lundy Bancroft's book "Why Does He Do That?" I'm sure there are more factors, but to me, ultimately it's a decision and a choice on some level.
